Letter of Interest in Try/on Life Community Farm Proposal 11/17/04

To Whom It May Concern:

As Director of the Environmental Studies program at Lewis and Clark College, I am pleased to lend our moral support to the effort to create an educational, public living and learning center on the edge of Tryon Creek State Park. Many of our undergraduates are quite interested in issues of sustainable design, and the interaction between the human and built environment. Given the proximity of the Proposed Try/on Life Community Farm to our campus, I would anticipate that the students at Lewis and Clark would make substantial use of this educational resource.

Sincerely,

Eban Goodstein
Professor of Economics, and
Chair of Environmental Studies
